Jack’s Story

Success...
We received a call asking us to take Jack into our foster care program.  The people were calling from California and informed Kane Humane that they had left Jack in the backyard of their home in UTAH with two dishes of water and an open bag of dog food - 5 days prior.
I was very nervous on the trip to get Jack, not knowing what I would find when I got there.  The temperatures had been 100 plus over the past few days.
When I got to the house, Jack was in a fenced area in the back yard with no shelter or shade.  He was very happy to see me and gladly climbed into the back of my air conditioned SUV and drank a few ounces of clean cool water.  The half hour trip back to Kanab and to his foster home was uneventful and Jack happily greeted his fosters and his new temporary four-legged family.

On his way to his Foster Home
Nice and cool...
After spending some quality time in Jim and Valeries loving Foster care (where he became known as “Happy Jack”), Jack is now truly happy; he was adopted on August 14th by Mike and is now in his forever home! We wish both Jack and Mike a long life together and could not be happier for either of them!
