Greta’s Story

Success...
Greta was found as a stray in the Ranchos,  tired, scared and very hungry.  She was examined by a vet, given her shots and then placed in foster care with Kane Humane.  Afraid and a little distant at first, she’s warmed up to her foster family and has become a very sweet and affectionate cat. After fourteen days in our care and with no reports of her being missing or anyone looking for her , we had her spayed and she settled into her temporary home awaiting a more permanent loving home! Well as it went, Fran, who was fostering Greta, fell in love and has adopted her.  Lucky Greta, and Lucky Fran!  Thanks, Fran for taking such good care of her and for loving her enough to give her a forever home! We at Kane Humane are happy to have been able to help you along in your journey Greta and wish you the best with your new life!
