Success...
Charlie was rescued up by a volunteer at the Ranger Station near Loosee Canyon Utah after seeing the Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Lab mix at the Trailhead for three days in a row.
They called Kane Humane Project for help and a Kane Humane Board Member volunteered to go and pick him up.  She found him dehydrated, but otherwise okay. No identification or microchip was found and no one had been looking for him.
Charlie went to a Kane Humane Foster home where he received a lot of love and attention, a complete physical exam, a microchip, and an update on his shots. After 14 days he was neutered and put up for adoption.  It didn't take long for someone to fall in love with this sweet boy .
Charlie is now living very happily in a loving forever home in Duck Creek where he gets to run, play, and swim to his heart‘s content.
The Kane Humane Project is an all-volunteer organization.
